Project Description

Transforming a bland car park into a thriving green urban transport hub.

North Place in central Cheltenham was originally the site of the iconic Black & White Motorways coach company who operated services to UK wide destinations. Having spent many years since as a car park it is now under development and has the potential to become a thriving destination for locals and visitors alike. Being the site of the new coach station, it offers travellers their initial experience of the town, and for locals provides housing, offices, a hotel, small retail and business units, community facilities and plenty of shared green public spaces linking the renovated and new buildings.

A mixed-use development to regenerate North Place – restoring the site’s significance as a central hub to Cheltenham and get it buzzing again.
